Microsoft 365 app

Students and employees of MATE can use the online and desktop version of Microsoft 355 apps for free if they have active legal relationship. In the package, you can  find Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Access. The application is available on both Windows and Macintosh systems.

If you want to access Microsoft 365, use your MATE ID with the @uni-mate.hu extension. First you must activate (or update) your password at JoKeR. For new users, it takes at least 30-60 minutes to login to the Microsoft account after the password change.

You can use the web version after you enter to https://www.microsoft365.com/, just click on the proper app on the left. While you can find the downloadable version on the top right corner of the screen. Click on the Install application, than on the pop up Microsoft 365 apps button. Your brower will download a file called OfficeSetup.exe. Run it and wait 'till the installation ends.
